Museum of Glass

The Museum of Glass is located in the Palazzo Giustinian around the corner from the Museo waterbus stop and near the Basilica of Santa Maria and San Donato. The palace was originally used by the bishops of the diocese of Torcello (a major settlement in the lagoon in earlier times) and now houses the collection of glass from the 15th to the 20th century on an upper floor.

Mount Titlis island

Most every Swiss mountain provides a beautiful 360° panorama, just as Mount Titlis with its spectacular view. But there is much more to see in Engelberg – Titlis like events and experiences that you can't find somewhere else!

One of the most scenic and picturesque settings in the whole of Switzerland, Lucerne (Luzern) is situated within the tourist region of Central Switzerland (Zentralschweiz). The city is lapped by the shores of Lake Lucerne, whilst the mountain peaks of Rigi and Pilatus are clearly visible in the distance and offer nothing short of a breathtaking backdrop.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Rome, and check in at your hotel. The evening is free for you to do a little exploring on your own. Enjoy a lavish dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 2: After breakfast, set off on a full day guided tour of the city, with a visit to the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum and the Time Elevator. Proceed to dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 3: Set off early for a wine tasting in Tuscany, then continue to Pisa. Visit the Field of Miracles and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Proceed to Florence, and check in at your hotel.
  • Day 4: Go on a guided walking tour of Florence. Later, set off for Venice where you will check in at your hotel. In the evening, take a gondola ride before you have dinner at a local riverside restaurant.
  • Day 5: After breakfast, set off on a guided city tour of Venice Island and then visit the Murano Glass Museum. End your day with dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 6: After breakfast, drive to Innsbruck, visiting Swarovski World at Wattens en route. At Innsbruck, check in at your hotel. In the evening, take an orientation tour of Innsbruck followed by a traditional Tyrolean evening, complete with a delicious local dinner.
  • Day 7: After a leisurely breakfast, take a day trip to Salzburg, where you will go on a guided city tour. Return to Innsbruck for a pleasant horse carriage ride followed by dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 8: Drive to Lucerne, stopping at Vaduz en route, as well as for a quick tour of Zurich. Check in at your hotel in Lucerne, and end this day with dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 9: Set off to Mt. Titlis, and take a ride on the Ice Flyer. After an Indian lunch on the very top of Mt. Titlis, return to Lucerne for a city tour, followed by a cruise on Lake Lucerne.
  • Day 10: After an early breakfast, drive to Jungfraujoch.. En route to Interlaken, visit the Trümmelbach Falls, if time permits. Check in at your hotel, and in the evening, your Indian dinner is followed by an authentic Swiss chocolate fondue.
  • Day 11: Drive to Geneva for an orientation tour. At Geneva train station, board the high speed TGV to Paris. On arrival in Paris, check in at your hotel and enjoy a lavish dinner at an Indian restaurant.
  • Day 12: After breakfast, take a guided city tour in a vintage 2CV car. In the evening, watch the thrilling Paradis Latin cabaret show over dinner.
  • Day 13: After breakfast, set off to Paris airport to board your flight home. (B)
