It’s also the perfect place to buy a bottle or two of high quality wine or to indulge in a wine tasting tour so you can try before you buy. Unsurprisingly, this region is incredibly popular with visitors from all over the world.Napa Valley is located between two of northern California’s coastal mountains. As well as a famous wine region, it’s also an area of outstanding natural beauty, with exquisite rolling hills giving way to fields carpeted in wildflowers.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, on the east side of the state, almost due east of San Francisco.Yosemite is centered on a glacier-carved valley, Soaring, granite monoliths, cliffs and waterfalls surround you - and a river runs through the middle of it all.Covering over 761,000 acres, Yosemite National Park is recognized for its vast waterfalls, granite cliffs, crystal clear streams and wildlife.

  • Day 1: San Francisco

    Arrive in San Francisco.

  • Day 2: San Francisco

    A full day to explore this vibrant city sightseeing, see the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, notorious Alcatraz Island, and incredible views along the way. Indulge yourself in Shopping.

  • Day 3: San Francisco–Yosemite National Park

    Spend some time discovering San Francisco this morning or start the journey to Yosemite National Park. Before arriving in Yosemite, you may want to stop in Sonora and visit Columbia State Historic Park, where you can experience the bygone area of the California Gold Rush. Arrive in Yosemite National Park, home to spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, and Giant Sequoia groves.

  • Day 4: Yosemite National Park

    Yosemite is full of opportunity! Spend time with a park ranger to learn about Yosemite or get a broad overview with escorted guide. During the summer months, you can even help Yosemite by volunteering for a few hours.

  • Day 5:Yosemite National Park–Napa Area

    Drive to California’s wine country today. You may want to stop in the state capital, where you can get a taste of the Old West in Old Sacramento, complete with cobblestone streets flanked with wide wooden sidewalks.

  • Day 6: Napa Area

    Enjoy an entire day to discover this wonderful region. You may want to visit some of the local vineyards and discover a new favorite wine, take an excursion on the Napa Valley Wine Train, play a round of golf, or treat yourself to a relaxing spa treatment. In the evening you can enjoy in one of the area’s gourmet restaurants.

  • Day 7:Napa Area–Eureka/Redwood National Park

    Drive to the coast and take scenic Highway 1 north. Pass beautiful beaches, charming coastal communities, and scenic ocean views.

  • Day 8:Eureka/Redwood National Park

    A full day at leisure to explore Redwood National Park.

  • Day 9: Eureka/Redwood National Park–San Francisco

    Retrace your steps along the coast or travel inland. Before arriving back in San Francisco, you may want to stop in the picturesque waterfront community of Sausalito, world-renowned for its Mediterranean flair and breathtaking views.

  • Day 10: San Francisco

    Departure to your own destinations.
