The Eternal City, Rome

EUROPE, Italy

Rome boasts one grand tourist attraction after another, but the Roman Forum and its neighbor, the Colosseum, stay with you forever. Truly most of these ancient archways, temples and aqueducts are little more than ruins, but the grandeur that was ancient Rome never fails to humble modern visitors. A very different but no less popular era of history resides within the Vatican City.

3 Nights & 4 Days

Italy’s capital offers an almost unbeatable mix of history, art, scenery, cuisine, and modern Italian life. Starting from the classical Roman styles to the modernist Fascist architecture, the buildings in Rome encompass the passage of time and cultures with immense beauty. The Santa Marria Maggiore basilica, Villa Borghesse, Palatino Hill, Pineto Regional Park, the Colosseum, and a number of other such historical and cultural artefacts form the crux of this brilliantly benumbing city.
