Home to more than 30 of the country's vineyards, this prosperous wine-producing region boasts an average of 2245 hours of sunshine annually. Cabernet sauvignon, gewurztraminer, chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir and sauvignon blanc are among the many varieties produced. The twin cities of Napier and Hastings are the main centres, with Napier famous for its art deco architecture. The city was virtually destroyed during the 1931 earthquake and rebuilt in the Art Deco and Spanish Mission styles. The 3km Marine Parade is a popular place to enjoy a stroll along the city's waterfront.


This town is treasured for its magnificent scenery, adventure opportunities and luxury lifestyle. Long summer days blonde the tussocks, throwing the hills open to mountain bikers and hikers. The brilliant reds and golds of autumn colour the trees, inspiring photographers and golfers alike. In winter, snow transforms the region into a remarkable alpine playground for skiers and snowboarders.

  • Day 1:

    Arrive at Auckland Airport in New Zealand where you will be transferred with your luggage to your preferred stay arrangement. In the evening take a highlights tour of Auckland then explore and enjoy with your own.

  • Day 2: Gulf Harbour Country Club

    Today the golfers will have their first taste of golf inNew Zealand at Gulf Harbour Country Club, one of Auckland’s fine courses. Situated on a peninsula with 360 degree views of the Hauraki Gulf, home of the America’s Cup in 2000 and 2003. The course has a great variety of holes, superb bunkering and enough challenge for even the best golfers.

  • Day 3:

    Bombay Hills and follow the longest river in New Zealand, the Waikato, to the inland city of Hamilton in the heart of New Zealands dairy farming and thoroughbred horse breeding area. Then continue on to Lake Taupo to make your stay arrangements.
    Today enjoy fishing on Lake Taupo and also enjoy your freshly caught trout barbecued to perfection on board by your skipper.

  • Day 4: Wairakei International

    Today the golfers take on New Zealand’s best inland course – Wairakei International. The best inland course in the country, it has been rated by Golf Digest in the top 100 in the world. It provides everything one could wish for in a golf course. The signature hole is the 615 par par 5 14th, aptly named ‘The Rogue’, a very demanding hole.

    Today you also may indulge yourself in sightseeing in Taupo to visit Huka Falls, Craters of the Moon and the Geothermal Power Station etc.

  • Day 5:

    This morning enjoy the coach ride through the picturesque Kaimanawa Ranges to Hawkes Bay on the East Coast. One of the few gannet colonies in the world is located at Cape Kidnappers, just outside of Napier. Hastings is the centre of the region orchards and vineyards.

    This afternoon enjoy the expertise of local winemakers while visiting several ’boutique’ wineries. Hawke’s Bay produces some of New Zealand’s best red and white wines and is probably most noted for its Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

  • Day 6: Play at Cape Kidnappers

    Renowned architect Tom Doak’s first project outside of the U.S.A., Cape Kidnappers is perched on fingers of land nearly 500 feet above Hawke Bay, this vertigo inducing course, creased by ravines and patrolled by gannets, belongs more to heaven than earth. It is seaside golf at its finest, you’ll hit heroic shots over the tops of tea trees, and play cautiously along the edges of deep ravines, every hole has a view of the Bay. Enjoy your game and the scenic beauty.

    Today you may indulge yourself in sightseeing of Napier.

  • Day 7: Napier to Queenstown

    This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Queenstown.
    Play at Jacks Point:

    The course is bounded by the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife. It is designed to work with nature, not against it. Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.

  • Day 8:Play at Millbrook:

    Designed by internationally renowned New Zealand professional golfer and former British Open winner, Sir Bob Charles. Millbrook’s golf course is an exceptional golfing experience, set against a spectacular alpine backdrop and fashioned from the original terrain; this course provides exciting and demanding golf.

  • Day 9: Milford Sound sightseeing:

    Today fly from Queenstown through the majestic Southern Alps and land at Milford Sound in the Fiordland National Park. The luncheon, launch cruise on the Sound is breathtaking. See Mitre Peak, waterfalls, sheer cliffs, dolphins, seals and much more.
    Return by plane to Queenstown.

  • Day 10:

    Depart New Zealand from Queenstown to your own destinations.
